The MA Problem Gambling Helpline is the Commonwealth鈥檚 official statewide problem gambling helpline, funded by Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Office of Problem Gambling Services. Our trained Problem Gambling Specialists provide referrals to licensed problem gambling treatment and recovery support services, and serve as a resource for problem gambling awareness and education.
Helpline services are free and confidential, and available 24/7 by phone or online chat to those experiencing problem gambling or those concerned about a loved one or client. Our Specialists understand problem gambling and the treatment system and provide compassionate and nonjudgmental help to anyone who needs it. We assess needs, provide referrals to treatment and recovery services, answer questions about problem gambling, and guide service providers to available training and educational resources. The Helpline鈥檚 website provides an online screener that can help assess visitors needs and direct them to treatment options.
